Ali’s practice includes acquisitions and sales of commercial real estate, the representation of both landlords and tenants in office, industrial, medical and retail leases, as well as net leased properties, and the representation of borrowers in secured lending transactions, including mortgage, construction and mezzanine financing. Ali also has extensive experience performing substantive due diligence review of matters relating to title, surveys, leases, zoning, and environmental and engineering reports. Ali’s experience includes preparing and negotiating all types of commercial leases, purchase and sale agreements, conveyance documents, easement and restriction agreements and corporate governance documents.
Ali graduated with a Juris Doctor from Fordham University School of Law with a concentration in business and financial law and was a member of both the Fordham Journal of Corporate and Financial Law and Moot Court. During law school, she worked as a Senior Research Associate for the Center on National Security and performed work on their publication Case by Case: ISIS Prosecutions in the United States.
Ali also contributed to a report published in the Fordham Law Review on presidential succession entitled Fifty Years After the Twenty-Fifth Amendment: Recommendations for Improving the Presidential Succession System, part of which was included in The White House Transition Project’s transition memo for President Biden on Planning for Presidential Continuity.
Prior to law school, Ali earned a Bachelor of Science, cum laude in Applied Economics and Management from Cornell University.
Ali is admitted to practice law in New York and New Jersey.
